A new Amazon facility will break ground in Cottage Grove this September, according to WMTV15. The long-awaited, roughly 3 million-square-foot facility — anticipated to generate over $5 million in property taxes each year — will be situated at the intersection of highways N and TT.
The distribution center is expected to create between 1,000–1,500 jobs. After initial delays, the building agreement was amended and the project completion date extended from 2026 to 2028.
