Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) and Johnson Financial Group announced the Top 4 products moving on in the ninth annual Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin contest. The competition highlights the state’s nearly $72 billion dollar manufacturing industry and the high-tech, high-skill, and high-pay career opportunities available within the sector.
This year, 130 products were nominated in late summer for the competition. Following three rounds of voting — and nearly 130,000 votes — Wisconsinites have narrowed the field down to the Top 4.
The Top 4 products include:
-
No. 16 Seed: Military Medals and Insignia, Medalcraft Mint Inc., Green Bay;
-
No. 13 Seed: Jolly Good Soda, Krier Foods, Random Lake;
-
No. 11 Seed: Revo, Vulture Systems, Menomonee Falls; and
-
No. 10 Seed: X739 Signature Series Lawn Tractor, John Deere, Horicon.
The final round of voting to determine the Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin is open now and will run through noon on Oct. 17. Individuals can vote once per day, per device. The winner will be crowned at WMC’s Business Day in Madison that same day.
