Online sales on Black Friday set a new record as Americans shopped from home, according to a report from the Associated Press.

An estimated $9 billion in sales on U.S. websites on Black Friday were spent by consumers, resulting in a 22% increase over the previous record of $7.4 billion, which was set in 2019. Traffic at physical stores dropped 52% from last year.
