Consumer confidence highest since February

Consumer confidence in September increased to its highest level since February, posting a 70.3, up from 61.3 in August, according to The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence Index. A 90 indicates a healthy economy, but the Index hasn’t reached that number since 2007.
