The Madison Yards master-planned community in the near west side will begin construction on Block Three, an addition of residential units.

Smith Gilbane is redeveloping 14 acres of the Southwest corner of University Avenue and Segoe Road into a walkable, mixed use district. It will contain over 500 residential units, a hotel, offices, 400,000 square feet of medical and office space, a Whole Foods Market, retail, restaurant and entertainment.

The Block Three development will introduce 199 market-rate residential units, 8,733 square feet of retail space and 200 secure, temperature-controlled parking stalls.

Construction began in July 2025, with the first occupants expected to move in during the spring, following construction completion in March 2027.

Madison Yards is becoming a true destination – where people can live, work, and thrive.”

Block Three will offer a mix of studio, junior one-bedroom, standard one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.
