An annual report from the Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing & Productivity shows rising confidence in the state’s economy and business climate, according to WisBusiness.
The report, based on the results of 405 statewide interviews and focus groups, found that just 10% of manufacturing executives said they were not confident in the future of company finances, while 40% said they were very confident.
Those numbers last year were 12% and 36%, respectively.
Additionally, for the first time in four years, more respondents saw Wisconsin’s economy as growing (32%) rather than slowing down (20%).
That said, 46% of respondents saw the state’s economy as mostly flat.
