The woodwind quintet group con vivo! will open its 18th season of chamber music concerts with two free concerts in local parks, according to a statement from the organization. A professional chamber music ensemble, con vivo! is comprised of Madison-area musicians from the Madison Symphony Orchestra, the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra, and various other performing groups. The concerts will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 6 at Arbor Hills Park, 3109 Pelham Road and at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 12 at Rennebohm Park, 115 N. Eau Claire Ave. These events are free and open to the general public. The concerts will include music by Copland, Gottschalk, Danzi, and Beethoven.
