Compeer Financial and its board of directors announced plans to distribute approximately $187 million in patronage payments to member-owners in 2025. This month, member-owners received the first round of payments, totaling $52 million.
Approximately 32,000 payments will be sent to farmers, rural homeowners, and agriculture-related businesses across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Minnesota. The $52 million distributed in February reflects equities allocated to member-owners for business conducted before Compeer Financial’s formation in July 2017. A second patronage payment of $135 million will be issued in August for business conducted with Compeer Financial in 2024. In total, the $187 million patronage payment represents more than 43% of Compeer Financial’s 2024 adjusted earnings.
