Madison Reading Project has launched a community book drive in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has left many children confined at home without books, according to the organization.
Collection bins have been placed in locations across Dane County for donations of new or like-new books, which will be distributed to children in need. The drive ends Dec. 15 to ensure prompt delivery of the books.
