Community Medical Services (CMS), an Arizona-based company, is opening a new methadone clinic in Madison this month, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. The clinic will be the fifth in the city licensed to provide the medication, which treats opioid use disorder.
CMS, which currently operates three of Wisconsin’s 25 methadone clinics, will also offer other forms of medication-assisted addiction treatment as well as counseling and peer support services.
The clinic will be located at 4802 E. Broadway. A ribbon cutting takes place today, and the clinic is set to open for patients May 24.
