Amarion James has shifted his project from a large nightclub near West Towne Mall to a smaller club and restaurant in a vacant downtown building that formerly held Brocach Irish Pub, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The Southern Skillet Bistro and Ultra Lounge proposed for 7 W. Main St. would serve southern dishes and soul food for dinner and brunch. The application estimates 40% of the business income would come from alcohol sales and 60% from food. In July, James applied for city entertainment and liquor licenses under the name Lush Adult Entertainment to open in a 30,000-square-foot vacant store on the west side.
