Using a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, Our Lady of Hope Clinic on the west side of Madison is offering employer-sponsored health care. The DPC memberships can be purchased by small businesses that are unable to provide their employees with traditional health care insurance. Monthly subscriptions are paid directly by the employer in exchange for access to primary medical care for the employee and immediate family members at Our Lady of Hope Clinic. The monthly rate amounts to less than $60 a month per employee.
The goal of this membership is to reduce the cost of medical care, increase satisfaction for both employee and employer, and develop a personal relationship between patients and their doctor. Another Madison clinic, Advocate MD, will also offer DPC memberships.
