The Clean Lakes Alliance will host its annual Community Coffee on Tuesday, May 13, at the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center. The event will release the 2024 State of the Lakes, which looks back at projects, practices, water quality and beach closures in 2024.
Additionally, the event will feature “Voices of the Watershed,” a conversation centered on what’s happening in the Madison-area community and environment. There will be coffee and networking beginning at 7:30 a.m., followed by a program and report release from 8-9:30 a.m. Speakers will include members of the Redbird Clan, Dane County Executive Melissa Agard, Mayor of Madison Satya Rhodes-Conway, Johnson Financial Group’s Regional President Doug Nelson and other lake supporters.
