Iowa-based UnityPoint Health, the owner of Meriter Health Services in Madison, has agreed to a settlement on a class-action lawsuit involving two data breaches in 2018, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.
Patients in Wisconsin who had their personal information compromised could get up to $7,000 and a year of credit monitoring and identity protection. The data breaches affected approximately 76,000 patients in Wisconsin.
