The city of Madison has signed a 10-year operating agreement with Madison BCycle through 2030 with an option to extend the program to 2040, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report.

As part of the deal, the program will add 100 bikes. Madison BCycle is a subsidiary of Trek Bicycle Corp. and was launched in 2011. In 2019, ridership more than doubled with the conversion to e-bikes.
