The idea of a Madison public market is being discussed again. Four City Council members introduced a resolution to hire a consultant for up to $250,000 to work on a business plan for a market to be located in a neighborhood outside of the downtown area. All previous plans focused on the downtown area, but in the past they have been held up by costs or business concerns.
