City Council approves new development at former Lane’s Bakery

The Madison City Council approved a five-story development at the former location of Lane’s Bakery in Madison. The building will have four stories of apartments atop 6,500 sq. ft. of retail space on the ground level.

The council also approved a 42-unit apartment building that will replace two existing homes at 313-315 N. Frances St. and include 2,000 sq. ft. of retail space.
