City inspectors have notified the owners of 131 W. Wilson that the city is again closing the office and restaurant building because the landlord failed to comply with previously established conditions of occupancy, according to a release from the city. The building currently has Paisan’s Restaurant and other tenants. The building was closed in early September because of structural concerns after which the city had worked with the building owner to establish and install safety measures for it to be reopened in October. In early December, city staff notified the owner that inspection and monitoring reports were not being submitted and the building will be posted “No Occupancy” and be required to be vacated.
