The Madison City Council unanimously approved a privately-funded plan to improve Glenway Golf Course on Madison’s near west side, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal. The estimated $750,000 in improvements will make the course more ecologically friendly and accessible to golfers of all abilities. The plan is funded by golf course developer Michael Keiser and his wife, Jocelyn, and will boost native plantings, install walking paths, and redesign holes at the nine-hole course.
