Dane County Executive Melissa Agard announced on Friday that Amy Everett has rescinded her acceptance of the director role at the Dane County Department of Human Services.
Despite the setback, Agard said she is committed to swiftly identifying and appointing a new Human Services director.
“This department plays a critical role in supporting our community,” Agard said, “and now more than ever, permanent leadership is needed to navigate the challenges ahead.”
