Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Day will return this year on June 12, coinciding with founder Nancy Deadman’s 89th birthday. Proclaimed by Madison’s mayor in 2022 to honor Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream’s 60th anniversary, this official Madison holiday celebrates decades of local ice cream.
On June 12, golden stickers will be hidden under random ice cream dishes at all nine Madison-area locations. Every golden sticker holder will win Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream prizes, and a special golden sticker will award free ice cream for an entire month.
