The Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness (FFBWW) and the LPGA Amateur Golf Association of Madison are hosting the second annual Charity Golf Outing for Black Women’s Health at Oregon’s The Legend at Bergamont, 600 Bergamont Blvd., on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 8 a.m.–5 p.m. The event will help raise funds to amplify FFBWW’s efforts to create a community where all women are healthy, thriving, and free.
Last year’s outing brought together 123 golfers and raised $25,000 through sponsorships and golfer donations to support the Foundation’s Black Maternal & Child Health Initiatives.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m., followed by a 10 a.m. shotgun start and a 4 p.m. reception with dinner, a raffle, prizes, and more. Registration is available for individuals and foursomes. Individuals can also register for the reception only. Proper golf attire is required at The Legend at Bergamont for all golfers and non-golfers.
Those who cannot attend are encouraged to donate online.
