Chamberlain Research Consultants, a Madison-based market research company, will close Oct. 1 after nearly 25 years in Madison.
Owner and founder Sharon Chamberlain will open a consultancy later this fall and continue to serve on area business boards.
Chamberlain attributed the closing to the up-and-down economy. “The rollercoaster economy of the last four years accelerated my decision to at least semi-retire,” she said. “It was one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make.”
