Madison nonprofit Centro Hispano is celebrating its 40-year anniversary and plans to open a new building next year, according to NBC15. The new facility will accommodate the rapid growth of the organization, which serves Madison’s Latino community.
The organization currently supports more than 7,000 people and offers over 20,000 hours of programming — four times the amount from 10 years ago.
Centro Hispano is looking to raise $20 million to help fund the new space and is currently just over $1 million short.
