Centro Hispano of Dane County has launched a fundraising effort to replace its annual celebration gala with a community-wide appeal and social media campaign promoting a $50,000 match from UW Health. The gala event was the Centro’s most important fundraiser of the year but was canceled due to COVID-19.
The new appeal hopes to raise $100,000 for the programs that support families in need in the Latino community.
