Madison-based Cellular Dynamics International Inc. has entered into a cooperative research and development agreement with the National Eye Institute to study a cell transplantation therapy for the treatment of retinal degenerative diseases such as macular degeneration.
CDI will provide NEI with manufactured induced pluripotent stem cells and the two parties will partner on experimentation and analysis.
