Madison-based Catalent will provide development, manufacturing, and commercialization services for Philadelphia-based Humanigen’s lenzilumab, an antibody being studied to treat COVID-19 pneumonia, according to a report from Contact Pharma.
The first clinical use of lenzilumab in 12 patients with severe and critical COVID-19 pneumonia showed the majority had rapid recovery and hospital discharge. Under the expanded services pact, Catalent will also provide clinical supply support for Humanigen’s Phase III study.
