Thanks to some recent snowstorms, Cascade Mountain is expecting a good winter season for skiing and snowboarding compared to the previous two, which were warm and lacked snow.
Cascade Mountain at W10441 Cascade Mountain Road in Caledonia opened its season on Nov. 30 after the Nov. 29 snowstorm. It was a day later than usual.
The Wisconsin State Journal reported that the winter sport and activity attraction enjoyed a successful opening week.
Cascade’s season runs until March 15.
