Cardiac Science, with operations in Deerfield and Waukesha, sold its diagnostic cardiology products, including specific heart monitors, stress tests, and EKGs, to Milwaukee-based Mortara Instrument, a manufacturer of devices used to diagnose heart ailments. It is not yet known what impact the move may have on Cardiac Science employees.
