The Wisconsin state Capitol’s sidewalks will receive $6.4 million in renovations next spring, in addition to improved stormwater infrastructure, according to the Cap Times.

The funding was approved by the State Building Commission this summer. One of the main issues to be remedied is the “cherry grit” paving on the sidewalks.

Construction is expected to begin in April next year.
