Capitol Kids on the Capitol Square announced it would be closing as soon as inventory is sold, according to an article in The Capital Times.
The store, at 8 S. Carroll St., sold classic kids toys, games, and clothes, had been a favorite on the square for 18 years, but sales had been lagging for quite some time. A going-out-of-business sale has already begun.
