Capitol Bank reported a 12.6% increase in earnings in 2012 compared to 2011. The bank finished 2012 with earnings of $3,002,828, compared to $2,667,122 the previous year. Assets increased 14.9% year to year, while deposits grew from $234.9 million to $276.7, an increase of 17.8%.
