New Glarus, known for New Glarus Brewing Co. and its heavy Swiss leanings, is gaining a new eatery – Canter Inn.
The restaurant opens on Thursday in a restored Victorian house. The menu will feature vegetable-forward dishes, Skate wing schnitzel and a smash burger made with kalberwurst veal sausage to lean into the town’s Swiss heritage, according to a Cap Times report.
