Cancer research company announces initial results

Elephas Biosciences, which has been researching live tumor imaging technology, has announced the initial results from the research, noting its technology could give doctors more information than liquid biopsies and allow them to better diagnose and treat cancer, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The company was formed two years ago and led by former Exact Sciences executive Maneesh Arora. The technology aims to help doctors better select cancer treatments for patients with 3D imaging licensed from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation and is based on the work of UW–Madison biomedical engineering professor Kevin Eliceiri.
