CCL Industries Inc. of Toronto, Canada, has acquired pc/nametag Inc. and Meetings Direct LLC of Verona for about CA$37 million. The transaction includes the acquisition of an office, light manufacturing, and distribution facility. The local companies, which were founded by Nick Topitzes, will continue to trade under the names pc/nametag and Meetings Direct and will report within CCL’s Avery Segment, according to a release.
pc/nametag supplies name badges and meeting registration materials to professional meeting planners in North America. In 2014, the company reported sales of CA$36 million.
