The University of Wisconsin athletic department presented a facilities master plan to the Athletic Board that could include a major increase in premium-level seating by bringing more club seats and smaller suite options at Camp Randall Stadium, according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal.
The athletic department’s master plan team submitted four options for updating Camp Randall Stadium ranging in price from $39.6 million to $150 million — from adding seats and an upper-level terrace to the south (Field House) end zone, to full reconstruction of the west side of the bowl.
The UW Field House, Nielsen Tennis Stadium, and McClimon Track/Soccer Complex could also see improvements.
Ideas are in the conceptual stage and not definitive, according to the article.
