Camp Randall alcohol sales bring in nearly $500K

Camp Randall Stadium alcohol sales have reached $492,000, the Cap Times reports.

The money goes to alcohol-free programming for students and other wellness programs across campus. The university’s Student Affairs division received $442,000 last school year, and University Housing received $50,000.

About $300,000 went to evening and game-day, alcohol-free programming. And about $92,000 supported the salary and benefits for a position in the Badger Recovery program on campus.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison introduced alcohol sales at the Kohl Center and LabBahn Arena in 2023. Camp Randall and the UW Field House began serving alcohol last fall.
