North side Madison’s Cafe La Bellitalia is set to close March 10, according to The Capital Times. Owner Pietro Pipitone recently announced the permanent closure of the Italian American restaurant and said he plans to sell the business and retire.
Pipitone cited several years of stress and working long hours behind his decision. He opened Cafe La Bellitalia in 2006 at 1026 N. Sherman Ave. and has owned multiple establishments throughout Madison and Sun Prairie.
