The owners of a popular Madison restaurant will soon open a new fast-casual eatery, according to an article from Madison Magazine. Shaina Robbins Papach and Joe Papach, owners of The Harvey House, a supper club-style restaurant on West Washington Avenue, along with their business partner, Kaitlin Fischer, are putting the finishing touches on Butterbird at 1134 Regent St.

Scheduled to open in January, Butterbird will center its offerings around chicken dishes. Robbins Papach expresses the desire for a family-friendly place that appeals to various age groups. The menu will feature a diverse range of chicken options, including rotisserie chicken and spicy chicken sandwiches. Beyond chicken, there will be bar snacks.

In contrast to The Harvey House, Butterbird will operate as an order-at-the-counter establishment, offering draft cocktails at the bar. While takeout for chicken is an option, the restaurant will provide various seating options, including an outdoor area.
