Madworks at Campus, a 10-week-long business accelerator program, will launch next week to offer startup companies legal advice. Of nearly 70 applications received, 11 companies were chosen to participate in the program, which was developed by the UW-Madison Law School’s Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic with help from University Research Park and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.
The participants are: 900dpi, website development programming; BlueTips, ice-fishing hardware using a smartphone application; CleMetric, data analytics for health care operations management and research; ConfPlus, mobile solutions to enhance user experience; Deneb Outdoors, sustainable outdoor products; ivMD, decision-making software for organ donors; SELA Medical, universal anesthesia applicator; Smart UQ, analytics to accelerate and enhance complex simulations; VexDel, data analytics software for customer analysis; ZeroNine, search and workflow improvements for attorneys; and Zuntik, online calendar distribution tool.
Each will receive up to $10,000 in seed funding provided by the WEDC.
