After 12 years, Buckingham’s Bar & Grill at 802 Regent St. has closed to make room for a new development, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The two-story historic building that houses the business, informally known as “Bucks,” will be replaced by a 10-story structure with housing, commercial space, and parking. The project will also raze a small church, the former Fraboni’s Italian Specialties and Delicatessen, and two houses.
