East side Madison’s Brothers Three restaurant and bar has temporarily closed, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. A social media post on Friday said that the establishment at 614 N. Fair Oaks Ave. would close on Sunday after dinner service.

According to the post, the business is closing to “make some positive changes” and is set to reopen later this year, with more updates to come. Brothers Three is owned by Matthew Stebbins, who operates Good Brothers Hospitality and co-owns downtown Madison’s Nattspil. Stebbins closed Good Co. restaurant in Middleton earlier this month and Oregon’s Ready Set in August.

Stebbins said he is focusing on making the restaurants that are still open successful, citing a “tough environment for restaurants” and “high operating costs” as contributors to current struggles.
