Broom Street Theater founder dies at 72

Stuart Gordon, a UW–Madison theater student, founder of Broom Street Theater, and horror filmmaker, died March 24 in Los Angeles, according to a report by The Capital Times.

He is known for his arrest for a production of “Peter Pan” in 1968 where two dancers appeared nude on stage.
