The Dane County Broadband Task Force is asking members of the public to complete a survey about broadband access in the county until April 15, 2022. The group collaborated with the University of Wisconsin–River Falls Survey Research Center to create the broadband survey for Dane County. The data is intended to be used for recommendations to the Dane County Board to improve broadband access. The survey consists of a random sampling of mailed surveys as well as an online component that will help inform the work of the task force. The 15-member Dane County Broadband Task Force was created by the Dane County Board in 2021 and has been meeting since last July.
