SimpleMachines of Madison, a company that has created a new processing chip used to reduce costs and energy usage in data centers, has received an investment from BrightStar Wisconsin Foundation Inc. of Milwaukee.
The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation led the financing round, and other co-investors included Wisconsin Investment Partners.
