Brews for Books, an event series that supports Madison Reading Project‘s summer reading program, kicked off June 2 at Ale Asylum in Madison. Attendees enjoyed a pint and donated books during the evening event.
Future dates and locations for Brews for Books are:
- June 17 — Alt Brew, 4–7 p.m.
- July 13 — Grumpy Troll, 4–7 p.m.
- July 21 — Brasserie V, 4–7 p.m.
- Aug. 12 — Olbrich Biergarten, 4–10 p.m.
- Aug. 19 — Longtable Beer Cafe, 4–7 p.m.
Each participating location is generously donating a portion of the night’s proceeds to Madison Reading Project. Additionally, the Big Red Reading Bus will be at each location to collect new and like-new book donations. Donation guidelines can be found here.
