Developer Lance McGrath would like to build an apartment complex in the 1200 block of East Washington Avenue that might also include a first-floor brewpub.
McGrath is proposing a 70- to 80-unit apartment structure with 75 underground parking stalls at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and North Few Street. He is considering two options: either a three-story building or a four-story building with a step back at the rear. Current structures on the blighted corner, including an American Auto building, Mad Motors, and Patriot Glass, would be demolished. However, in the four-story plan, a portion of the Patriot Glass building could remain.
Neighborhood meetings are currently being scheduled.
