Breeze Airways announced on Wednesday that it will offer direct flights from Madison to Raleigh-Durham beginning on May 8, the Wisconsin State Journal reports.
The service will be seasonal, running in the summer.
Flights between Dane County Regional Airport and Raleigh-Durham International Airport will be on Mondays and Fridays.
Breeze is offering $49 flights for the new service if booked now through Feb. 3 for travel from May 8 through Sept. 15.
“We set out to give our guests more nonstop destinations at great value right from their hometown airport, and this summer route to Raleigh is a great example of how Breeze is making travel more convenient,” David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, said in a statement.
Breeze started service at Dane County Regional Airport in 2024 and also offers seasonal flights from Madison to Tampa, Orlando and Los Angeles.
