The city of Madison is considering a $1.1 million proposal from the city’s Parks Division to add a one-story, 3,750-square-foot concessions and restrooms building next to the grandstand at Breese Stevens Field.
The $1.1 million proposal also calls for masonry upgrades and adds rain gutters, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
Built in 1925 and operated by Big Top Baseball since 2015, Breese Stevens has seen a resurgence in activities in recent years, from hosting festivals and film series, to concerts and other events.
