Madison’s Breese Stevens Field will reach 100 years on May 5 and will open a season-long celebration with a May 15 Rally Madison FC preseason match against Chicago House AC.
On May 16, Forward Madison FC begins its eighth year in USL League One in its 2026 home opener against USL Championship Club, Detroit City FC.
“There’s no better way to kick off a year of celebration for Breese Stevens Field’s 100 year anniversary than with Rally Madison FC taking the field for the first time and Forward Madison FC’s home opener,” Kyler Donovan, general manager of Forward Madison FC and Rally Madison FC, said in a statement.
“We can’t wait to open the gates back up and welcome fans in for the two-day fan fest at the stadium with our friends at Don’s Home Furniture. Breese Stevens Field has been a wonderful home for Forward over the last several years, and we’re ecstatic to be a part of this milestone celebration.”
On May 23, Rally FC opens its regular season against Minnesota Aurora FC. And on May 29, Forward Madison will take to the field on Centennial Night to celebrate 100 years wearing a centennial kit.
The match will follow the inaugural Breese Stevens Field Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Breese Stevens Field will also debut an anniversary logo for the celebration. The logo represents the historic brick facade that encompasses the stadium and grandstand at the bottom of the design. It includes a star, a beacon of excellence in Madison. A star has marked the stadium in branding and is permanently pressed into the concrete.
